1863. A.C. Thomas Civil War Letter.
Aug 3, 1863. A letter from Civil War soldier A.C. Thomas to his cousin Priscilla "Kate" Morris in Blanchester. Thomas was serving in Nashville at the time. The letter is a simple letter about missing home but does include A.C.'s thoughts on the length of the war (not positive) and his feeling that the war is justified at any cost. He also mentions being turned down by General Rosecran for a leave pass.
When reading this, the first letter image is page 1 and 4. The second letter image is page 2 and 3.
