Collection: Class Photos
The Blanchester Area Historical Society has a large collection of class photos. Some , such as the very old ones, are simple single photos. Others are enormous panoramas that are several feet wide and include every student who attended the school that year.
Another style was the ornate cameo-style collages that featured each student in an ornate oval frame. These were created by pasting each photo into the frames. These "paste-ups" are very large (approximately 3' x 5' ). Several are included here. Many more exist that need to be digitized. That is a work in progress.
