Buildings

Blanchester has had many unique buildings since it was founded in 1832. One of the most unique was Bindley Block which was built after the Great Fire of 1895. It's beautiful cupola made it the building that became most associated with the town.

Unfortunately many of the old buildings have been razed or are in decline. The entire Bindley Block was lost in a terrible fire in 2020 taking away the town's most iconic structure. This makes preserving these images and stories of these historic structures even more important.

Buildings
