1904. Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church. S.R. 28.

The Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church was located in Harlan Township at the intersection of Woodville Road and SR 28. The Wesley Chapel cemetery is now the only clue that the chapel was ever there.

The attached photo shows the church in 1904. Sometime after that Walter Simpson, father of local historian John Simpson, bought the building. It was disassembled and moved to Blanchester. He remade the church into the house that sits at 111 Baldwin Street, Blanchester today.
